Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project cost tracking and monitoring against approved budgets
- Support weekly and monthly cost reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Assist in preparing project cash flow forecasts and financial reports
- Review project expenses and ensure accurate cost allocation
- Support tender and budgeting processes by compiling financial information
- Maintain project financial records and reporting databases
- Assist with revenue tracking, cost updates, and project profitability analysis
- Collaborate with project teams to gather financial and operational information
- Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and processes
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requirements
Requirements
BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost & Management Accounting, or related field
1–3 years' experience in finance, project accounting, cost control, audit, or a similar environment
Strong Excel and MS Office skills
Sound understanding of accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Advantageous
- Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or renewable energy environments
- Exposure to project accounting, budgeting, or forecasting
- Knowledge of IFRS reporting principles
